Well....we planted our garden this year. Out of all the onions, beans, peas, and carrots that we planted, it seems our most bountiful harvest came from our sunflowers. They are huge, the tallest one is about 8 feet tall. I love them. They also provide good shade for our chickens and goats.
This last Friday night we went to the Puyallup Fair. We surprised the girls with tickets to the Carrie Underwood concert. They were really excited. It was a good concert, she sounds perfect live. We didn't get much time to look around. We pretty much only were able to look at the exotic animals, have an elephant ear, go on a few rides, and go to the concert. I haven't been to the fair at night in years. The Freaks Come out at night....my gosh. It is just out of control. If I saw one more teenage boy in women's skinny jeans, I thought I was going to die. I have to say it's bad enough that the girls are wearing them, but why do the guys have to? Do they really think they look good? Anywho....I hope everyone has a great week.

Oh- I'm TOTALLY on the same page with you on the "skinny jeans". AND the stupid, boff hair-cuts...you know, like long, 70's tv star-boy haircut (bangs in face). Pair that with some skinny pants...it's the look of "annoying!"
No kidding. It's called "Emo" (ee-moe). The girls and boys dress exactly alike. Hair parted way on one side, bangs in face. little stick legs, and tight shirts. Re-darn-diculous.
Why when you leave a comment does it show brian &kara? I have always wondered but never asked.

Ok...that's what Emo is. I was at a concert last month and one of the band members said something like...we are a real f-ing band not a f-ing emo band. (They were kind of angry sounding). I had no idea what emo was....but I've wondered what the deal is with skinny pants and the bangs,etc. Whats up with that? What does emo mean anyway?
I've wondered about brian and Kara's sign in name too....maybe because its a symbol.

No, it started a few weeks ago and it just won't stop. Everytime I leave a comment, it's brian& kara. I have no idea why or how to fix it.

Emo is short for emotionally disturbed. Cool isnt' it, to actually want to be called that. I am pretty cool with all the lingo, I guess it is from having Rachel around. Next time you guys see me I will be emotionally disturbed aka EMO
