We have had consistantly nice weather so we were able to cut and bring in the hay. Well....Dad did all the cutting, raking and baling, we just helped him pick it up and stack it in the barn. We had a pretty good year and ended up with about 1200 bales of hay. It is really hard work since you have to do it when it is 80 plus degrees out, but I think it is pretty fun. The weather is still nice, and we can relax because we are all done with the hay. We might even get a 2nd cutting on one field.
I am so happy it is summer weather now. We are going to Westport for the day on Sunday. I am sure it will be fun. I am packing lots of sunblock. Talk to you soon!!

I like Scott's "Volunteer" t-shirt. That field with hay looks so pretty...there's just something about it, you know?
Did you happen to notice Scott's "sweatband" it is on with his doo-rag.
I did notice the head gear, I just didn't realize what it was exactly. I bet it worked well in that tepid 80 degrees! I'm kidding, I do know that's very hot when you're used to it being cold.
One of my most favorite smells is cut hay! I got a good whiff of it on my way down from the sky in my parachute. That was something I really noticed as I got closer to the ground. Random, I know.
When did you jump out of a plane. These are things we should know about! Scott is thinking about doing that in August. He won't ride the new Disco ride at Wild Waves, but he wants to jump out of a plane!!??
Marjorie...do you look at our blogs?
