It's time to relax

Ok....I made it through March. This picture of me is on Easter Day in the barn during the Easter Egg Hunt. Don't I look happy. Not only did I have to deal with turning 31, but my family had 3 birthdays and Easter all in the same week. Not only is it very expensive, but it takes alot out of me. Throw soccer into the mix and I am exhausted.
With Lent and Easter Day over with I can now reflect on my fasting. This year for Lent I pledged that I would be less judgemental, controlling and stop procrastinating. Over all I feel like I did pretty good, except I still have not finished my Wedding album. I don't know what it wrong with me. I just can't make myself pick out the pictures so Abe can put it together for me. I do HAVE to get it done before our 2 year anniversary which is in 20 days.
I hope everyone had a great Easter and is looking forward to enjoying Spring. We started spring with a week of snow. I have never seen so much snow come down with little to no accumulation. It was pretty, but I am so over snow now. I want sunny weather. We are supposed to have spring weather for the next few days and I plan on enjoying it. Have a great day!!

Yay! An update. I love your music line-up (the Joe Dassin takes me back to Spring in Paris '95, which is where Jon is now with his kids).
You like tired, but good (little!)

Please substitute the word "like" for "look" in the previous comment. I did just wake up.

Thanks Kara,
I think I look tired alot now, or just old. I haven't been frequenting any blogs lately, I am going to check yours out now.

I've noticed that...(the frequency of your checking my blog, that is).
Brian says I look tired all the time too, hence my embracing of b&w pics. I've lost elasticity in my skin and the sun spots keep coming with more age. It's okay though, we must approach this gracefully (but- if I had a bunch of money, I can't say I wouldn't race to the closest dermatologist for laser resurfacing!)

Don't stress too much about the wedding album. I did this for years....still do sometimes, but its ok if you don't have one together. Honestly, its not like I would be sitting there looking through it all the time anyway. I think Abe gave up on me too :) Now....not only do I have a wedding album "to do", but Grayson's photos need to be in an album, be printed, etc....also need to do his baby book. He is almost 2!

You look great! 31 is treating you well....that and the Arbonne :)

Jeez Kara...we must both be on here at the exact same time!!

Thanks Jessica. The Arbonne is amazing, I LOVE it. I have no more dry skin probs at all. I think 31 is treating all of us well.
Where is Easy V?

Yeah....where is easy V? Or if you were really cool, you could have the celulite (spelled wrong on purpose) people knocking on your blog door like Cara did!

You don't look tired to me! Reading these comments feels like french class, except that Jessica is here.

Hi Adam,
Nice to hear from you. Kara really threw a zinger in there with the whole "tired" comment. Oh well...you know Kara.
Of course I am just kidding Kara.
I guess I need to visit your blog and leave comments this time.
Talk to you later.

What's that supposed to mean?

Adam, are you in Boston? (seems that's what I heard)
Feels like we're all just hanging out having coffee. But I just had a Bud Light(in a can!) and some leftover hamburger helper. For the record: I am not a redneck! Mama says I'm a classy girl.

MJP said...

Well Mama is Wrong! I would probably partake of a Bud Light if I could stand the taste of beer, but I just don't like it. Hamburger Helper is really popular with the Petersen girls. Thank goodness for that because it is one of the few things I can make. They think I am like Chef Ramsey when I whip it out. Anywho...it is like having coffe, but I don't have to secretly worry inside about how tired I probably look...right Kara.
