We started our Halloween with a soccer game in Aberdeen at 11am, we lost. We arrived at home just in time to get the girls ready for the night. Rachel was a dead little red riding hood, and Kylee was a witch who had her throat slashed. I made my own wounds out of Vaseline, red food coloring, cocoa and tissue. They looked so real! Ben came over trick or treating. He was the cutest little monkey. We took the girls to the Moose Lodge in Yelm. Now a few years ago, the Moose Lodge was a real "happening place" tons of people were there. This year we showed up with the girls dressed in horribly disgusting costumes. We walk in, all the lights are on, it is silent and people are just eating. No music or anything. The oldest kids there were maybe 7 yrs old. They were all in their little fat dinosaur costumes. Rachel wanted to get out of there. We looked around for a few minutes and little girls said "Mommy, she is really scary!" That was our cue to leave. It was really funny, though not to the girls. Since they are kind of big to be trick or treating, we went to the Trunk of Treat at 4 corners, then headed home. Of course we had to stop at Mom and Dad's for a quick trick or treat. I also made Willy come over to our house and trick or treat. Now Halloween is over, and it's onto better things. THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!

Great costumes. I am so impressed with your skills. Macie is beyond adorable. She is just the sweetest little puppy! Happy Holidays!!! I guess next year, you can just keep the Moose Lodge off the agenda. =) That's funny.
She is cute isn't she. I took her to work and she wore it almost all day. I took it off her and she started flea biting it. The Moose Lodge is off the agenda for next Halloween. Do you like Ben's fat little tummy in that costume?
Yes. I can't wait till I can meet all your new family members. =) He is so cute. How's little Jane doing?
