OK... here it is December 8th, and I still am not done with all my shopping. I have the majority of it done. Tomorrow I am going to wrap what I have so I can organize things, and figure out what is left to get. I am hoping to have it all done with by the end of this week. We picked out our tree yesterday and decorated it. Our tree is mainly old ornaments that were given to me from my grandma Barb, along with some traditional ornaments that Kara and Brian gave to us in 2006. I love them. We don't do the "theme" thing, its just kind of whatever. We will put tinsel on it, but I hire Willy to do that. He does a perfect job!

Next week Mom and I will start baking the norwegian goodies and I will start putting together my cookie trays.

Every year we have a yule log. You light a candle for each Sunday in the season of Advent. We lit the 2nd candle yesterday. Next week is the Christmas play, I hope it goes well.

I hope you are all having a great holiday season thus Far

Merry Christmas!!

I love your tree!
I thought a yule log was something...edible.
Maybe I shouldn't have admitted that. =)

That's OK....I am sure that there is some sort of Christmas treat named after this Holy Symbol. I love to have a yule log. We usually make them at church, but this time I bought it from the church for 10.00. I am glad you are back from you computer virus, I mo-missed you!

Bailey was the lucky girl to find the Easter Egg hidden in a "fresh pile". He tends to do that every year!
