OK...it is December 14th. That means 11 days until the big day. I have alot to do still, but mainly fun stuff. My shopping is done. I have a few more cards to address before I mail out my Christmas cards, and I am almost done wrapping my gifts.
It snowed here last night. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, because we had to get going early this morning. Today was the day of the play. I have been working on the Sunday School Christmas play since the beginning of November. We have had 2 performances so far today and have an evening one at 5pm tonight. Mali has the lead role of the Angel (Which I played when I was a young girl), Kylee has the other lead role as Myra. They both have done great!!
It is threatening to snow again, and I really hope it does. I need to get some pictures of it. I feel that now I can really sit back and enjoy Christmas. Every year I watch the National Finals Rodeo. It started December 4th. It goes for 10 days. I watch it with Dad, but am usually really tired by the end of the 10 days. I have to stay up unitl 11:30pm almost every night. So with that behind me and the soon to have the play behind me....it is now officially time to enjoy myself.
It is supposed to be really cold for the next week, and I have to say it really enhances my holiday spirit.
The story behind the picture: Rachel went to ocean shores last summer with her confirmation group at church. She bought me a blowfish. I really love it, so I incorporated it into my holiday decor. Isn't it cute?

That blowfish is really neat!
How did the play performances go? I wish we could have seen one. =)
You sound like you are on your game this year!
The performances went really well. Mali and Kylee remembered all their lines. We got a little snow, but now it is just really cold. It's almost 1:30pm and it's only 28 degrees! I love it.
Cha-Chai! (That's what Pablo used to say when it was cold in the mornings). It still makes me laugh.
What happened to the baking pictures? =)
