We finally made it to Thanksgiving. November seemed like a long month anticipating the "accepted" start to the Holidays. I, however, believe that anytime after Halloween is appropriate to start celebrating the Holiday Season. Anywho....we had a small dinner this year. Tod and Chet's families went to the in-laws and Rachel and Kylee went to their mom's house. So it was a nice little dinner with Mom, Dad, Aunt Deb, Willy, Stanley, Scott and yours truly.
I made the Turkey again this year. I love doing it. I also made the dressing and mashed potatoes. I finished it off with a pumpkin cheesecake. Mom made a jello salad that was wonderful. It was peach with bananas in it....scrumptious! She also out did herself making pumking, apple and a berry pie. They were all mouth watering. We ate at about 2:30 and stuffed ourselves. Willy enjoyed his grouse, and Dad carved the turkey. We waited for Chet, Jani and the girls to come back home and we had dessert around 5pm. Rachel and Kylee came home in time for dessert too, so that was nice. Scott's dad stopped by for a quick visit too.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, and are ready to officially start the Holiday Season!!

When it's straight it looks long, when it curls it is still sits on my shoulders.

my little 'martha'-esque friend...you rock! You would be proud of me that I started putting up my lights yesterday! Way earlier than normal...but I figured that Dec 1st is just around the corner. Oh and the Christmas music has also started! I gave in...yesterday!

I am proud of you! I am almost done with all decorating. I am never quite happy though.

That's the life of a perfectionist. I'm sure it's perfect to everyone else!

Bailey was the lucky girl to find the Easter Egg hidden in a "fresh pile". He tends to do that every year!
