It's been a long time

I know I have really been slacking on my blog updates. I have a few events that I want to update people on.
The first being that our soccer team ending our season with 7 wins, 2 losses. It was an amazing season. If records were kept for recreational soccer, we would have tied for 2nd place. We did beat the 1st place team the first time we played them. We now have a few months off. I am glad but I am actually going to miss the girls. When I first started coaching, I was not excited to be around all these kids. Now I have really became attached to them. Last night we had our end of season party and gave all the girls trophies. They loved them.
As you know I am not a huge halloween fan, but I have to show our pumpkins. Carving pumpkins is my favorite thing about the holiday.
The biggest thing I have to share is on October 26th, Scott, Rachel and Kylee all were baptized! We had a private family baptism with Pastor Jerry. The whole family was there and we were able to get a family picture with everyone. On November 2nd Rachel graduated from confirmation and is now a member of the church.
Now that soccer is over I can focus on the holidays and co directing the Sunday School Christmas Play entitled "365 days of Christmas" We did this play when I was in Sunday School too, I was the Angel. Mali and Rachel are both going to be the Angel (in different perfomances), Kylee is going to be Myra, and Bailey will be singing a solo (or duet depending on her confidence level). So we are still pretty busy around here, but it is worth it.
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the holiday season. I look forward to seeing you/hearing from you throughout the holidays.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Marjean

What a sweet and happy update! So many things have happened in the last couple few weeks for you. It's time to plunge into the holiday season! I love your music too. I had such a hard time finding Thanksgiving stuff. I might have to steal yours. =)

Steal away. We have had quite a bit happen the last few weeks. I am going to try to be better about updating. I need to start taking more pictures. I think I don't like taking pictures because I hate seeing myself in them. I will just have to get over it.

I do know what you mean. I think we view ourselves differently, but everyone else is used to what we look like...we're just not. It's funny huh? It's like hearing your own voice on a recording. I'm always like..."I sound so annoying." But it's not really that way... ...right?
So, please just bring your camera with you- because the frequent updates make me feel not so 3000'ish miles away.... =)
