Reunited and it feels so good!

I am not sure if you all know this or not, but Scott has a son from a relationship he had in highschool. His name is Curtis Smith and he will soon be 19 years old.

Well, the other day at work somebody came back and asked me if Scott was in the office. They said his son is up front wanting to see him. I immediately thought is was Shane, who is his step-son from his last marriage. I thought he was probably in trouble or something. Then the person told me that he hadn't seen Scott in a while. So I went up to see who it was, and it was Curtis! It was really cool to meet him, but a little wierd too. He was already talking to Scott on the phone when I got up front. I stood there, probably making him feel uncomfortable, but I really wanted to introduce myself. So, I did. Anywho...Scott hadn't seen him for like 7 years, thanks to his mom who moved and didn't tell Scott where they went. She also told Curtis that Scott had moved to Spokane and she didn't know where he was. Sooo...Scott went out to dinner with him last night. He lives in Mineral, and is really "Country hickish" which I love. They had a really good talk, and will make sure they keep in touch.

Curtis really looks like Scott, especially the eyes and the chin, and neither of them have a top lip. I am now a step-mother to a bouncing 19 year old boy.

I am still working on the Tesla update. Have a great day

Wow. Well, I'm glad Scott's son found him after all that time and that you got to meet him. Is he going to stay in town for awhile?

Yes, he is living with his uncle in Mineral. They are going to get together at least once a month. It's pretty cool. I am looking forward to really meeting him.

How was soccer coaching? What are you going to do for your birthday? What are you doing this weekend? When are you coloring eggs? I know you're busy, but I just feel a little more out of the loop than normal. Do you have Grandma Barb's deviled egg recipe? Because I need it...

Bailey was the lucky girl to find the Easter Egg hidden in a "fresh pile". He tends to do that every year!
